Responsible for receiving requests from associates and vendors, and providing the technical support and customer service needed to solve requests.

Core Responsibilities:
1.Answer incoming help line calls and provide technical support to callers
2.Create problem tickets containing accurate and complete information
3.Route problem tickets to 2nd Level Support Technicians
4.Follow up on open tickets with the requestor
5.Ad hoc projects as assigned


Job Qualifications:
1.Associate?s degree or trade school experience in related IT field or the equivalent work experience
2.Two years of prior help desk experience
3.Experience with Novell and Remedy a must

o NDS administration (NWadmin and ConsoleOne)
o LAN shared area permissions
o Group membership
o User rename and home directory rename
o Application Object association
o NDS Rights

Remedy:
o Manage Remedy queue
o Find asset owners
o Escalate tickets
o Create Remedy work request and help desk tickets
