We currently have an immediate opening for a PC Help Desk Rep. on second shift in Nashville TN.


 


You will be responsible for basic-to-intermediate PC software and/or hardware systems support via telephone or e-mail in accordance with service level requirements. You will also be responsible for supporting the Associate PC Help Desk Technician, Level I, and other Level II efforts. This position has frequent contact with PC end-users, Help Desk peers, and managers; also may have contact with software, network and hardware vendors, resellers, or distributors.



Qualifications:


Minimum of two-year degree (computer-related field preferred) and 3 ? years in customer support experience, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Previous experience providing customer services (not necessarily support) over the telephone.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively via documentation, telephone, and e-mail with customers and peers in varying roles.
Excellent understanding of PC software, operating systems and applications, networks, and possibly hardware (peripherals) with moderate-to-high level software, network and hardware troubleshooting skills gained through experience and/or training.
Intermediate-to-complex knowledge of the functional specifications of software, networks, and hardware.
Possess an excellent understanding of PC software, operating systems and applications, networks, and possibly hardware (peripherals) with moderate-to-high level software, network and hardware troubleshooting skills gained through experience and/or training.
Possess an intermediate-to-complex knowledge of the functional specifications of software, networks, and hardware.
