ISP Administrator Position in Telecommunications

<P>The <STRONG><EM>ISP Administrator</EM></STRONG> will be responsible for delivering Internet services, including installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, monitoring and performance testing.</P><P>?</P><P><STRONG>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>.? </STRONG>Responsible for technical, non-routine installation, maintenance and provisioning of network hardware and software, including mail servers, web servers, domain services, postmaster services, switches, hubs, routers, firewalls, operating systems and storage devices</P><P><STRONG>.</STRONG>? Performs analysis and design of Internet infrastructure</P><P><STRONG>.</STRONG>? Troubleshoots Internet hardware and software problems</P><P><STRONG>.</STRONG>? Responsible for systems security of all Internet-related systems</P><P><STRONG>.</STRONG>??Provides Tier 3 Internet support</P><P>.? Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in related technologies</P><P>.? Performs other?related duties as assigned.</P><P>?</P><P><STRONG>Education and/or Experience</STRONG>:</P><P>.? Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred</P><P>.? Minimum 3 years working experience in Internet/network related services.</P><P>?</P><P><STRONG>Skills, Abilities and Knowledge</STRONG>:</P><P>.? Strong working knowledge of Internet and network technology</P><P>.? Strong working knowledge of Ethernet topology and experience with switches, hubs, routers, IP addressing and subnet masking procedures</P><P>.? Thorough understanding of Unix operating system</P><P>.? Experience with UNIX Internet server applications, including mail, news, DNS,HTTP, scripting and security</P><P>.? Experience with Internet client applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, Explorer, etc.</P><P>.? Experience with Qmail, Apache, Bind, Linux, and NetApp Filers is highly desirable</P><P>.? Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff</P><P>.?? Excellent organizational and problem solving skills</P><P>.? Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.</P><P>? </P>
