IT/AV Manager

A privately held Dallas, Texas based international service company serving the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry is seeking a full-time IT/AV manger.

Essential job functions:Installation of computers, peripherals and software ? implement upgrades, perform preventative maintenance and arrange for repairServicing and maintenance of all company equipment to the highest possible standardManagement of telecommunications systemManagement of ISP and server systemsProvide audio/visual consultation and on-site meeting supportProvide program management team with equipment knowledge and capabilities of equipment as required

 

CRITICAL PERFORMANCE AREASWorking knowledge of media equipment such as LCD projectors, Folsom equipment and sound boardWorking knowledge of IBM-compatible hardware and Microsoft software including Windows 2000 server, Windows 2000/XP, Office 2000/XP and Internet Explorer 5 and aboveKnowledge of or experience with DreamWeaver or other HTML/Code applications

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR OTHER RELATED SKILLS:

? College Degree ? college or technical school degree in computer or media-related field

? 1-2 years work experience in technically-related field

? Professional appearance and able to create a positive first impression

? Good organizational skills; detail oriented

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills - bilingual a plus

? The ability and willingness to learn quickly and perform other tasks and special projects as required

? Knowledge of Windows NT/2000 networking

? Knowledge of telephone and voicemail systems

? Experience working with third-party vendors
