Summary: 

A full-time support position with primary responsibilities that include: internal and external customer support, server hardware maintenance, proprietary software installation, integration and troubleshooting, data management and validation, procedural documentation, and standard network management. The employee will be required to perform his or her duties in compliance with the policies and procedures as mandated by IDC-MCS, Inc.

 

Requirements:

Technical Skills: Exchange 2003 Services installation, administration and troubleshooting skills. Clustering knowledge a plus.Windows Server 2003Active Directory administrationInstall / configure SQL Server and Analysis Services Setup / maintain SQL Maintenance Plans Disaster recovery planning and implementation Setup / maintain / troubleshoot enterprise level replication Performance monitoring and optimization Strong System Engineering skills Understand N-Tier server architecture Understand NT 4.0 and Windows 2003 domain concepts Veritas BackupExec/NetBackupCisco PIX firewall administrationNetwork design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. CCNA/NP a plus.MCSE 2003 required ? Exchange certification a plus.IIS administrationVPN design, installation and troubleshooting (site to site and client to site)SAN experience a plus.Project Management skills a big plus.
