IT Manager

World-class privately held company in Cincinnati is seeking an IT Manager to be a key player in the growth and organization of the company.

Position Summary:

Management of the IT department in accordance with organizational policies and business goals. Ensure proper functioning, security, and audit of company's information processing system and oversees upgrades as necessary. Helps business operations utilize IS to improve efficiency. Ensures that computer equipment, hardware and software are updated to meet organizational needs. Familiararity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities will include:

Project Management and Task Prioritization. Coordinate all IT projects and ensure company resources are utilized appropriately. Compile project status reports, coordinate project schedules, manage project meetings, and identify and resolve technical problems.

Daily Management of IT operations. Manage the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensure proper functioning of company's information processing system and make upgrades as necessary.

Staff Management and performance appraisals. Supervise IT department in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Vendor Management. Manage the outsourcing process for the IT department. Oversee and evaluate the selection of vendors as well as negotiate the purchase contracts and service level agreements.

Mentoring and staff training. Evaluate emerging trends in IT field and their worth to the organization. Educate staff on new technology.

Requirements include:

BS degree in Computer Science or related field.

7-10 yrs. experience managing an IT department with progressive company.

C#, .NET application development experience.
