NYU's prestigious Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available in our Information Technology department as an IT Support Specialist. Working in an entrepreneurial environment that uses cutting edge technology, this position will develop and create proprietary applications for Stern constituents. The individual will advise and consult with faculty, administrators, and staff in design, development and implementation of Stern's internal and external applications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience working with Solaris/Linux, Apache, MySQL, and OO Perl and Mod_Perl. Strong Unix/Linux administration skills and project management skills are required, along with excellent writing and communication skills. The proven ability to develop plans and schedules and expertise in PC and analytical skills are also essential. Knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript and web design is preferred.
