Java Developer

TransTech is in the process of filling multiple projects with full life cycle Java Developers.  We are looking for mid-level to senior developers with solid life cycle experience.  W2 contract and contract-to-hire positions are available in Chicago.  No corp-to-corp consultants or H-1 transfers possible.

 

Required:

 

-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 5 years of related work experience.
-Proficient in J2EE, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, JDBC, SQL, J2EE Patterns, and STRUTS.
-Proven experience in playing a lead role on application teams.
-Good problem solving and debugging skills
-Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical ability.

 

Assignment Description / Responsibilities:


-Lead and coordinate activities of a small application development or support team.
-Provide application and user support, troubleshooting, application testing, and post-implementation
review of new/changed applications.
-Complete final testing for conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications.
-Lead the development of design requirements, design, test, document, and implement systems and
programs.
-Maintain system availability and coordinate issue resolution. Investigate preventative measures.
-Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program policies.
-Maintain complete confidentiality of company related business.
-Maintain effective communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned
responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
