Laptop Deployment Specialist

Job Description

 

Primary responsibilities will include laptop preparation, quality assurance, packaging and shipping of laptop computers to sales representatives in the field.  In addition, you must be able to provide technical support for web based applications on laptops and provide assistance to sales representatives as well as be able to maintain inventory reports and deployment logs on a daily basis.  Position requires very strong organizational and detail skills and a working familiarity with excel spreadsheets.  The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

 

Daily responsibilities include:

 

?  Programming, Packing and Shipping laptop computers to company sales representatives

?  Provide technical support and assistance to sales representatives

?  Maintain Inventory reports and deployment logs on a daily basis.

?  Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 High School Diploma or equivalent Two years of basic IT experience in a laptop environmentFamiliarity with Windows XP Pro Desktop Configuration and SetupTwo years of basic IT experience in a laptop environmentMust be able to lift at least 40 lbs  Excellent organizational and detail skills Ability to meet daily deadlines, handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment Microsoft office products including Word and Excel experience Possess excellent interpersonal skills, positive, pleasant and professional attitude, and be a team player
