Lead Developer MBS/ABS New York $ 300 K

My client, a global investment bank are seeking an individual to lead a team in the development of a brand new MBS/ABS platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an talented and experienced Developer with proven leadership skills who is now seeking a route into a Management position. You will be working very closely with a team of extremely talented Quants in the development and implementation of a risk and pricing infrastructure. Your role will also cover various aspects of the front office platform such as trade capture and the analysis of vendor platforms. You will be leading a small team in the development of these systems .

The successful applicant should have at least 5 years commercial experience within an Investment Bank/Hedge Fund with strong skills in C++ on a windows platform. Within your experience you must be able to demonstrate that you have taken a senior and leading role within the team. Good knowledge of MBS analytics - OAS, Multi-factor interest rate models and experience in the development or risk engines such as Monte carlo and biomial. You will have a good educational background with a Bachelors and Masters in a numerate subject.
