Machine Operator

Our services include: a full suite of human resource administrative services; integrated securities transaction processing and investor communications services for the financial services industry; computing solutions for auto and truck dealers and vehicle manufacturers; and computer-assisted auto damage repair estimating, parts availability, and fee and utilization audits of bodily injury claims for auto accidents and workers' compensation. Understand and utilize machine technology ensuring all quality standards are met.Maintain optimal pace of machine based on job specs. Check, sign, and date material samples to ensure that they match the material to be inserted; monitor quality of the finished product.Verify material for each new skid that is brought to the machine is correct.Set up machine and ensure all detectors are working properly which includes, setting the timing from the rotary hoppers to the insert track, proper registration on the polywrap machine.Immediately notify supervisor of any missing or damaged parts that are noticed during set up of the Polywrap machine.Troubleshoot problems, repairs, minor breakdowns and assist technical support with major breakdowns.Train the crew on all functions of the machine, support equipment, and sorting processes.Partner with management regarding staffing issues.

 

Experience within a production environment with the resultant knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation preferred.Proven proficiency in the operation of mail insert machines preferred.Computer skills a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Must work well under pressure of time constraints.Ability to work a flexible schedule, occasional weekend work required.
