As a key member of the Generics Sales Operations team,  this position will report to the Vice President of Sales Operations.  The responsibilities of this position will include the following:

 

? Managing all IT related activities for the Generics business located in Charlotte, North Carolina.  In addition, will assist in any other IT related activities for all of Dr. Reddy?s Laboratories in the U.S., when necessary (i.e., SAP enhancements, etc).

? Managing and maintaining all technical aspects of SAP including but not limited to, SAP Idocs, SAP Abap programming, and SAP interfaces to support North American pharmaceutical business.

? Analyzing, constructing, implementing and maintaining EDI transactions within SAP based on business and technical requirements.

? Manage personnel that supports and maintains Gentran production environment.

? Supporting/maintaining/enhancing all interface programs.

? Configuring and integrating EDI transactions with SAP using IDocs.

? Hiring, training, and developing employees.

? Supporting and maintaining CARs, application software including any upgrade activities.

? Preparation of detailed technical specifications.

 

Requirements/Education:Requires a Bachelor?s degree in Information Science with a minimum of 5 years of SAP EDI/Idocs and Abap programming.  Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.Experience with Gentran NT mapper and with Oracle database in a windows environment is a plus.Experience with I-Many CARs software and Windows/Unix shell scripting is a plus.Excellent project management skills.Strong leader who can oversee outsourced activities.An open,  available communicator with the proven ability to build productive relationships internally and externally and to work with a focused team approach.  A winning ?get things done? attitude and approach.
