Mobile Technology Specialist

POSITIONS SUMMARY

The Mobile Technology Specialist is responsible for providing training and education necessary for the delivery of the Mobile Technology Project for field operations.? ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for the all phases of support for the field users of UCI Mobile Field Service? which may include but not necessarily be limited to;Providing guidance to the users both onsite and off siteTraining and education to the usersResponsibility for managing internal technology users and coordinating outside vendors.

????????? Manage deployment and maintenance of UCI Mobile Field Service software releases for a specific business unit.

????????? Guide the testing of UCI Mobile Field Service solutions.

????????? Create user documentation for the processes of all UCI Mobile Field Service solutions.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

????????? Provide administrative support for the Mobile Technology Team as required.

????????? Provide mentoring and team building support as the Mobile Technology team grows.EDUCATION REQUIRED

????????? Prefer at least 2 years of advanced education, at either college or vocational level.

????????? On the job training and experience considered in lieu of advanced education.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED5+ years Gas Compression Industry experience.Proven success in a support role for gas compression field operations.Proven success in a support role for applications, systems or technology designed for field use.Track record of providing support ?in the field.?Background in training and education a plus.SKILLS REQUIREDWorking knowledge (as a user of) PCs, computer systems, and software.Proficiency in all Microsoft office solutions.Strong verbal and written skills.Strong people skills.Ability to multi-task.Training, education and end user support will predominantly be delivered in the field.This position will require consecutive weeks of travel to regional facilities.During delivery of training and education to a new user group in a region, travel can be expected to be 4+ days for 3+ consecutive weeks.THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE REGULAR TRAVEL
