NETWORK APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

The selected candidate will work as part of a team to develop a large-scale communications network model. The team will consist of C4I analysts, network modeling engineers, and model development engineers. The candidate will require knowledge of network protocols, software applications over wired and wireless networks, in-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, routing, media access protocols, and QoS.

The qualified candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field specializing in network or communications systems engineering and 4-6 years directly related experience (MS and 2-4 yrs or PhD and 0-2 yrs experience). Experience in wireless and/or SATCOM preferred. Basic C/C++ programming and software engineering preferred. Experience in a scientific or simulation environment (OPNET, QualNet, NS2, etc.) preferred. Experience with military communications preferred.
