JOB SUMMARY:

 

Ensure the integrity and functioning of the enterprise-wide network by maintaining, supporting, installing and configuring relevant network related hardware and software.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Administers Exchange 2003 servers. Administers and manages Corporate Application Servers. Support Symantec Clientless VPN. Supports and maintains Windows 2003 Active Directory domain administration. Installs and maintains server software and hardware (Dell Power Edge). Supports and maintains BlackBerry Enterprise Server Documentation of network hardware and software procedures Customer support of all On Site personnel and remote locations. Creates and manages user and group accounts. Assists Network team as needed. Communicates status of projects on regular basis to manager and other members of management as needed. Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:5 + years IT experience. M.C.S.E. 2000 or 2003 (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) Bachelors Degree (preferably) High degree of customer service orientation. Ability to work under deadlines. High degree of organization. Ability to multi-task.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to sit and work with computer for a long period of time. Sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate standard office equipments.

 

Desired Skill Set:

 

Experience with System Design; Experience with troubleshooting IT systems; Experience with monitoring IT systems; Develop daily reports on usage; Ability to write scripts; Microsoft 2003 operating system experience; Experience with file storage devices; Experience with backup systems; Experience in clustering and load balanced servers and web servers; SQL 2003/05; Clustering; Loading; Internal Servicing; Comfortable speaking in front of leadership groups to explain system process and issues
