VisionWeb, a provider of business technology services to the eye care industry, is seeking an Operations Engineer.  In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of our three network environments. Candidate should be familiar with the below technologies, best practices, documentation and must be self motivated.

 

Requirements

* Windows 2003/2000 Server (Active Directory) and XP Professional.

* WAN/LAN experience (Cisco VPN, IPSEC, Routers, Firewalls and switches).

* TCP/IP (DNS, DHCP, WINS, Subnetting).

* Microsoft Exchange Mail Systems (Ver., 2003/2000).

* Microsoft Virtual Server Technology.

* Tape backup technologies, (Veritas Backup Exec).

* Scripting experience.

* System security and antivirus experience.

* Experienced working in data center hosted environments.

* Ability to be on call 24/7 rotating shifts.

* IIS6 deployment and support.

* SQL 2000 Enterprise deployments and support.

* Windows Clustering Windows 2003/2000.

* Ability to support user and desktop issues professionally.

* Experience installing/maintaining WSUS.

* MCSE and/or CCNA certification(s) a major plus. 

* .NET administration a plus.

* IBM Websphere/MQ Series a plus.

* Unix/Linux experiences a plus.
