Excellent contract opportunity for an experienced Oracle Applications/Core DBA in the Memphis, TN area!
The qualified candidate will provide support to internal staff in managing and supporting the implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i and other Oracle database based systems. Work assignment may include some weekend work.
Required skills include:
Familiar with Oracle E-Business Application Suite modules HR, Payroll, and Oracle Time and Labor
Minimum 5 years production DBA experience in a 24X7 environment
Proficiency with UNIX/Linux shell scripting and crons
Good knowledge of both database and system performance tuning
Good knowledge of Oracle security management
Intermediate PL/SQL skills
Proficiency in patching Oracle E-Business Application Suite and patch management
Ability to coach, provide direction, and work with a diverse work group
General project management skills, knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
