PC Specialist

To provide high quality technical support and administration to the end users, including coordination of support of the Windows NT network devices, company specific applications, and the Inter-Tel phone system as well as back up support to fellow team members.

 

Primary Responsibility:

?  Provide support of all network hardware devices including personal computer workstations/laptops, blackberry?s, PDAs, printers, plotters and other devices as necessary, including but not limited to end-user profiles, new hire setups, remote users.

?  Ensure daily/weekly/monthly back-up is completed as required.

?  Maintain data and systems integrity via back-up administration of the Windows NT network.

?  Provide back-up administration and support of the telecommunication and voice mail system. Back-up, support and administer the Internet connection.

?  Coordinate and train all network users and remote users to optimize the system utilization

?  Provide technical support to sales force team on Microstrategy.

?  Manage and maintain DBWorks Server and CAD programs, including installations and upgrades, as well as hardware requirements.

?  Manage and maintain network security on workstations, laptops and servers via antivirus software installations and upgrades.

?  Manage printers, copiers and fax machines.

?  Identify/troubleshoot technical issues. Update documentation of troubleshooting steps and installs.

?  Manage/maintain LCD projectors including scheduling, shipping and tracking.

?  Other related tasks as requested.

 

Minimum Requirements:Four year Computer Science degree preferred.Two year technical degree in Network administration or equivalent required2+ years experience in ERP administration.1-2 years experience in LAN network administration. Experience administering phone system, or comparable.Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks.Demonstrate ability to interact with other users, assess their needs and coordinate their solutions. Ability to prioritize tasks, communicates expectations to users, and accomplishes objectives in recommended time frame.
