Product Engineer, Programming

This person will be responsible for reviewing first release software to ensure compliance to specifications and will test software on all required products to ensure a quality software release.

 

He or she will support Product Engineering in developing engineering debug tools for yield and failure analysis. The person will be responsible for new driver integration. He/she will perform yield analysis as well as  debug customer programming problems.

 

The person must be analytical and be able to identify the root cause of a problem and implement the proper corrections. The person will have a high attention to detail, quality drive and will be goal oriented. He/she will write procedures and reports so must have excellent written and oral communications skills. 

 



Education and Experience: BSCE required1-2 Years experience in the semiconductor or PC board environment

 



Required Expertise: Must have experience programming in C++, Assembly, PERL, Shell Scripts and UNIX.Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word and ExcelMust be experienced using software test programs and experienced in Quality AssuranceFamiliar with use of oscilloscope, function generator and be able to do board level checks.
