Shavlik offers an outstanding opportunity to join our organization as Product Marketing Manager.  This position will report directly to the Vice President Marketing and will be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

 

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, coordinating and executing Shavlik?s product features and benefits, evangelizing the products and strategy in key briefings and sales engagements, and leading analyst/press communications and awareness efforts with the PR organization. This individual is also responsible for managing the development, implementation, and execution of product launch plans and programs including product positioning, messaging, packaging, sales tools, communication and training.

 Responsibilities

?  Create marketing campaigns and oversee product launches.

?  Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure his/her marketing campaigns and sales support are meeting the needs of the business.

?  Maintain regular communication with sales management, product management and the marketing team to ensure product marketing needs are being met.

?  Develop and refine over time 'best practices' for working with product managers on product launches, working with marketing communication team on campaign execution.

?  Review and provide critical input into key marketing collateral pieces, presentations, lead-generation deliverables, etc.Professional Qualifications

?  A Bachelor?s degree or greater is required.

?  7-10 years of product marketing experience are essential.

?  Excellent communication, planning, ability to work independently, and organizational skills required

?  Looking for a creative and energetic, team player, with a positive attitude and strong management and leadership skills.

?  High tech marketing experience is required.  Security products and markets background strongly desired.

?  Technical background strongly desired - the capability and ability to communicate with technical buyers is a must.

?  Ability to quickly learn and write about technical concepts required.

?  Some travel required ? at times 10-20% and at other times 50%.

?  Systems and network management knowledge is a huge plus.
