Production Control Analyst #918

The Production Control Analyst is responsible for the promotion of application development elements from acceptance to production.  Creates and modifies batch application schedules utilizing a job scheduling package.  Provides support to applications and operations staff as well as customers external to the IT division.  Provides rotating on-call support in a 24/7 environment. 

Associates Degree in data processing or a certificate from a data processing vocational program is preferred. Two years data processing experience in a mainframe environment is preferred. Position requires knowledge of mainframe tools TSO, SDSF, $AVRS. Qualified candidate must be familiar with Software Change Management packages (e.g. Endevor), Job Scheduling software (e.g. OPC), Report Distribution software (e.g. Dispatch), and programming environments (COBOL, CICS, etc.).  Knowledge of AFP, NDM and FTP are a plus. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
