General Description:

A Technical Project Manager (PM) that plans, documents, assures compatibility with related tasks, and drives significant system reconfiguration projects such as a major upgrade, deployment of new modules, and a new client inbound migrations where the client is already live on Oracle.  The PSDM assures the highest level of client satisfaction.  The PSDM has good knowledge of the Oracle eBusiness Suite and a solid understanding of Oracle Application product life cycle and related support services.  In addition, the PSDM demonstrates good business acumen..

 

Essential Functions: Develops, documents, and project manages technical component of an upgrade project plan based on the requirements received from the steering committee

? Develops, documents, and project manages the project plan for an inbound customer migration.Identifies key project participants and secures buy-inCommunicates tasks and task due dates to Operations Desk

?Provides oversight on assigned tasks

?Communicates project status and technical project plans to steering committee

?  Provides early warning and recovery options to affected parties on project tasks where the expected deliverables and/or resolution dates are at risk of slippage

?Can bring conflict or dissent into the open and use it productively to enhance the quality of decisions; arrive at constructive solutions while maintaining positive working relationships with project teams.

?Documents project results

?  Fulfills role of SDE while engaged at a specific customer

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

? Solid working knowledge of Oracle?s eBusiness Suite products and services a must...

? Desktop operating systems and office tools

? Project Management software (Microsoft Project)

? Demonstrates initiative and creativity in addressing project requirements

? Is able to manage time and work flow to meet project demands

? Exercises judgment in seeking advice and counsel

? Projects a positive and professional image

? Contributes to the success of team objectives through effective teamwork

? Is attentive to details

? Understands departmental and company policies, procedures, and business practices

? Bachelor?s degree in technical or management disciplines

? Five or more years of relevant experience, must include soild working experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite products
