Job Title: Proposal Manager

 

Responsibilities: Manage department-wide priorities, including deriving work requirements from operational business units and establishing project timelines. Manage corporate communications, including drafting and distributing employee communications, developing and maintaining marketing collateral for print and web, updating content on the corporate web site and intranet, and ensuring corporate-wide resources (proposal library, project descriptions, and resumes) are accessible and up-to-date.



Serve as Proposal Manager for multiple large and small proposal efforts in response to Federal Govern-ment Requests for Proposal/Quote (RFP/Qs), task order RFPs, and RFIs, including generating proposal outlines and schedules, managing the proposal team and process, leading the Kick-Off and review meetings, writing proposal sections, and providing boilerplate and direction/feedback to aid writers. Perform substantive re-writing and editing online, design proposal templates, format proposal text/graphics, make proposals more aesthetically pleasing and easier to read, and perform production functions, as needed (e.g., printing, binder assembly, coordinating delivery, etc.). Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000-certified processes.



Education and Experience: Minimum BA and ten years of Federal proposal development and management experience. Experience in the Federal information technology (IT) proposal environment preferred. Ability to write, re-write, edit, and tailor documents to meet requirements. Ability to convert text to graphics (tables, charts, etc.). Knowledge of industry-standard editing marks and style manuals required (GPO preferred). Knowledge of Federal Government contracting required.
