SQL Server DBA/Architect

We are looking for 3 SQL Server DBA/Architect's for a 6 months plus project.

The candidates must have 10 years of experience with strong experience in analyzing execution plans and using SQL Profiler. They must have the ability to interpret this data to make the appropriate performance updates to stored procedures and triggers.

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently hiring three SQL Server DBA/Architects. This is an exciting, 6-months plus contract opportunity. We have openings for Senior level SQL Server DBAs, experienced in developing scalable, high performing data driven applications.

The ideal candidate must have solid experience and understanding of database design. Extensive experience in writing stored procedures (understand practices around locking and performance issues), SQL server index tuning, and writing DB Code. Experience working with large (200+ gig) SQL Server databases and deep knowledge solving performance problems on large systems is required.

Skills Required:
-Must have 10 years experience in MS SQL Server based, N-Tier application
development.
-Bachelor degree in Comp Science/related field
-Specialist in fine-tuning and creation of high performance stored procedures,
views, and triggers. Must have expert T-SQL experience.
-The following skills are a plus: ASP, VBScript, MS SQL Server 2000, JavaScript,
COM, COM+, HTML, DHTML, ADO, XML, .NET, within a Microsoft DNA architecture.
Delphi or Turbo Pascal skills a big plus.
-In addition to the development technologies, the applicant must have
experience with application development using the following tools and
methodologies: Visual Source Safe, IIS, Visual Interdev. RUP or other
professional development methodology a plus.
