SYSTEMS ENGINEER

As a Senior Systems Engineer, your focus will be to monitor, manage and enhance portions of the IT infrastructure for our customers. This includes helpdesk support, messaging support and systems administration. You will build management, technical and planning skills by participating in internal development projects. You will improve your abilities to think creatively, design solutions and provide high quality support services.
Participate in the installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of MS Exchange 2000, Windows 2000, Windows XP and/or Windows Server 2003 and workstations
Develop an understanding of details and tasks around multiple server/workstation deployments in a data center
Able to design or operate automated server/workstation deployments with built in Windows platform tools (Sysprep), tools (Ghost, Drive Image) and scripts
Perform configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Servers (DNS, DHCP) and client TCP/IP (client side settings)
Monitor mail servers and storage, administer mail accounts, respond to help desk queries and issues Minimum Requirements
College courses in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Should have an understanding and experience with MS Operating Systems, including Windows 2000 and XP
Should have experience with network protocols/services and network infrastructures
Should have experience with Windows 2000 Server
Should have experience with Directory Services such as Active Directory
Should have some familiarity with server hardware, storage devices and networking hardware such as hubs, switches and routers
Should have some exposure to scripting or programming with VB, SQL and/or ASP.
Current authorization to work in the US on other than a non-immigration visa.
Must have experience with MS Exchange
Must have experience with SQL Server Preferred RequirementsMCSE Certification
