Sales Support Specialist SR

Sales Support Specialist SR:  Performs a variety of support activities across pursuits and deals within sales and across the enterprise. Works as a core member of the pursuit team to determine deal scope, objective, message, and components that make up the proposed business and technical solution on moderately- to highly-complex information technology outsourcing deals.  Compiles information and coordinates the construction of the value proposition and business case in alignment with EDS guidelines and due diligence with the goal of creating a proposal for the client that will secure the contract with the maximum possible positive financial outcome for eds. Coordinates the appropriate deal review and approval gates as directed by corporate policy.

 

Qualifications:

*7-10 years exp in sales support, and business and proposal development and management.

*A current secret clearance based upon a limited background investigation sponsored by an intelligence community agency or department preferred, but not required.

*Must have experience managing proposal(s) for a government pursuit and be able to manage proposal process for small to medium size federal and state & local pursuits. Must also be able to perform the following:

*  Produce and enforce proposal calendar.

*  Run status meetings.

*  Responsible for all proposal deliverables.

*  Manage and monitor budget.

*  Work closely with sales, costing, contracts and other groups as needed.

*  Schedule pursuit review teams.

*  Support and enforce corporate brand.

*  Support knowledge management.

* Must be a self starter.

*Must be able to interact with senior level leaders/executives.

*Must be a team player and work well with team members.

*Must have a take charge attitude, but be open-minded.

*Must be able to multi-task and be able to manage 3 plus pursuits simultaneously.

*Must be process oriented.

*Must be flexible to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.
