We are currently looking for CA Unicenter Sr. Consultants to join our team in Cordova, TN office.

 

Qualifications:The successful candidate will perform day to day management of a technical team performing management of CA Unicenter Desktop Management servers and clients in a Fortune 100 environment. The candidate will oversee the automation scripting for distribution of vendor-provided and internally-developed applications by repackaging software for client installations, posting software in catalogs, and/or making software available to be pulled in a Computer Associates Unicenter server environment. This individual will contribute to the company's success through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives for the following major job functions: Lead senior consulting team in managing the Life Cycle of automated patch and application management systems in accordance in the terms of a service contract. Works independently to manage onsite team. Has knowledge in Computer Associates Unicenter product line (specifically Unicenter Software Delivery, Unicenter Asset Management, and Unicenter Remote Control). Extensive knowledge in the use of Microsoft Windows server systems and Active Directory (MSCE in Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 required). A working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite and excellent IP addressing skills. Candidate typically has three or more years of experience in management. Strong writing, oral and interpersonal skills a must. Assist support personnel in troubleshooting application deployment and configuration problems.Good understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and the Windows registry Ability to create technical documentation, both for technical and non-technical audiences Strong focus on customer service and teamwork Troubleshooting and problem determination skills

Education & Experience: Prior scripting experience (i.e. VBScript, WMI, Perl) Prior experience with software packaging Prior experience with other mechanisms of delivering software (i.e. Novell ZENWorks, Tivoli, Microsoft SMS) Multiplatform experience and knowledge (Windows, Unix, Linux. Novell). One or more of the following certifications would be a plus: o CCNA, MCSD, CISSP, CUE, Wise Package Studio
