OPEN POSITION: Sr. Network Engineer ? Sr. Cisco Voice Engineer | CCIE

REPORTS TO: Vice-President Professional Services

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Function of the Sr. Cisco Voice Engineer on our team will be to partner with colleagues and clients to plan, design, implement, operate and optimize Cisco VoIP solutions both existing and new. The position will participate in overall voice strategy, design, upgrades, deployment, and troubleshooting of components that within client systems. Client solutions include: Cisco Call Manager (Clustered), Cisco Unity Voice Mail and Unified Messaging, Cisco IPCC Express, Call center scripting, and advanced voice gateway configuration.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidates will possess extensive knowledge of Cisco Enterprise class switches, routers, wireless solutions and firewalls. The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks within the established scope, budget and timeline is critical while focusing on complex problem solving abilities and performing root cause analysis. We value hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, TCP/IP, VLAN and WAN implementation and network security analysis, management and authentication. Client implementation experiences as project or technical lead and experience with delivering on service methodologies is a plus.

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

? Qualified candidates will have 2 years of experience configuring and installing Cisco Call Manger, Unity Voice Mail, Routers/ Voice Gateways, SRST, carrier circuits to PSTN and various branch offices.



? Demonstrated high degree of initiative and self guided work management



? Demonstrate strong desire to develop new technical knowledge and professional skills on a continual basis



? Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey the proper message to both the Business and Technical audiences



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSES:

? IPCC Express and Enterprise, IVR, Call Manager Express, Meeting Place, VT Advantage, Mobility Manager and queue scripting is a plus.



? Cisco Certification preferred is CCIE (R&S or Voice), CCVP, and CCNP.
