Support Engineer

 

The HelpDesk Company is changing the way companies handle their technology.  We are eliminating the love-hate relationship most companies have with their computer support provider and replacing it with a positive partnership.  We are looking for the right Support Engineer to join our team. 

 

 

The right candidate will have:

 

?Professional demeanor with the proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment. 

?At least 3-5 years (5+ preferred) hands-on experience supporting multiple clients and/or locations both on-site and remotely

?Experience deploying, upgrading and supporting the following technologies:

oSmall Business Server

o Exchange Server

o Windows Server

o Active Directory

o ISA (Internet Security & Acceleration Server)

o IIS/WWW/FTP

o Terminal Services

o RAID

o HP and Dell Equipment

o Microsoft Outlook

o Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Pro

o Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition

oSymantec Security for Exchange

oVeritas Backup Exec

oCisco PIX and/or SonicWall

oWireless Routers/Access Points

oCisco VPN Client

?Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

?Excellent verbal and written communication skills

?Desire to obtain at least two manufacturers? certifications each year

?Desire to be more than just a break/fix person
