Systems Administrator for an established Healthcare company in Fort Worth

Robert Half Technology, Fort Worth, is searching for the perfect candidate to fill the position of Systems Administrator for an established Healthcare company in Fort Worth!  This exciting opportunity will require a candidate that is ready to take charge and test their talents!

 

Job Summary:

Assists in the maintenance of small network operation consisting of Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers and clients.  Assists in maintenance and configuration of Routers and Networking protocols across the WAN and monitoring of same systems.  Assists in maintenance of Phone systems and Phone switches and should possess knowledge of various Nortel, NEC and AT&T systems.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Assists in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's network and systems

? Assists in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's routers and WAN

? Assists in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's phone systems and communication lines

? Responsible for performing system backups and verification

? Responsible for monitoring network usage and developing appropriate use policies

? Responsible for creating network usage and administrative policies

? Responsible for documenting Network and Server configurations and recovery plans

? Designs and supports server systems and supporting software

? Works closely with the Network Manager on maintaining existing systems and in the deployment of systems

? Prepare weekly reports on the system's health and performance, as well as suggest upgrades

? Work with IS team to support users as needed

? Assists the MIS Manager in projects as assigned

 

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's Degree in related field, MCSE certification, SQL database scripting and management experience

? Proficiency with Microsoft Office products from an administrative perspective for network install support

? Ability to maintain a high level of productivity; self motivated with a high degree of professional initiative

? Excellent communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills

? An ability to work under deadlines in a highly demanding environment

? Willingness to travel within the Metroplex and ability to transport and install moderately heavy equipment is required
