Systems/Network Engineer with MCSE/CCNA

Our growing full service IT solutions company seeks a Systems/Network Engineer with at least 5 years experience in networking. He/she must hold MCSE, CCNA, Cisco, and/or Unix certifications. Interviews will be done immediately upon resume approval. A Bachelor?s degree is preferred but not necessary. Candidate must be comfortable doing field work. This position needs to be filled right away.

 

  Job Description:

 

? Provide technical support and manage servers and Microsoft Operating System NT/2000 and/2003 Servers

? Administer Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003

? MS operating system upgrades, Active Directory Services, IIS, SQL Server

? Knowledge of network management including MS NT/2000/2003 Server and Network clients (Novell).

? Provide on-site computer desktop, server, and network support for various clients throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

 

Required skills:



? Troubleshoot PC hardware/ software, email, internet, printing and all networking problems.

? Install and configure hardware and software (e.g., network cards, SCSI devices, memory, video/printer drivers and hard drives).

? MS 98/NT/2000/XP, MS Office Applications, Workstations, and PC troubleshooting. Symantec Enterprise, McAfee and other anti-virus software.

? Knowledge of internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.

? Familiar with Veritas, VPN and Routers.

? Reliable transportation and adequate insurance are required.

? MCSE or MCP certification REQUIRED. Do not apply unless you meet this criteria.
