TAC Specialist I

TAC Specialist I Position Background:
Provide technical support to Data Services? customers through phone and email support systems.

Major Responsibilities:

? Provide phone and email support to customers
? 1st Level Troubleshooting of TCP/IP Connectivity problems on Customer?s Internet and WAN Connections
? Provide DNS and POP Email Support
? Provide 1st Level Support to ATX Insight Users
? Execute Minor MAC requests on Customer Premises? Routers and Firewalls
? Open, Update, and Close Tickets in CRM, CIS Trouble Ticketing Systems
? Upsell Frontline Emails and Managed services
? Update Customers and Sales Reps on status of Trouble Tickets via phone calls.
? Perform other duties as instructed by ATX Management


Position Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
? Experience supporting a LAN/WAN environment
? Basic Knowledge of DS3/DS1 technologies
? Experience Troubleshooting TCP/IP Networks
? Experience Servicing customers on-site or via phone support
? Organizational skills and abilities to self-manage workload
? Capable of generating new ideas and continuous improvement efforts
? Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
