Techanical Support Specialist

The Bartlett-Collins Division of Indiana Glass Company (IGC) is currently recruiting for an Information Systems Technical Support Specialist for our facility near Tulsa, Oklahoma. IGC is a mid-sized manufacturer of consumer glass goods. Our products are for retail sales to mass merchandisers and OEM to the packaging industry. Also associated with the plant is a large, basic distribution center for shipment of palletized and mixed case pallets of finished goods. Our workforce is about 450; we run a 24/7 operation with four shift manning and are partly unionized at this facility. A relocation package is not available.



This position provides overall information technology support to location users in a manufacturing and/or administrative environment; participates in needs assessment discussions and makes recommendations on specifications, configuration, replacement and usage of microcomputer equipment and servers; provides additional support in local and wide area networks support; works closely with Blue Ash Office (in Cincinnati, OH) IT management and performs duties within established guidelines.

Essential duties will include, but may not be limited to:Possesses and maintains high degrees of technical expertise in the operations, applications and updates for Window Server and Window operating systems.Provide support and functions as a resource person answering questions and solving problems for individual users and minimizes end user down time.Troubleshoots user problems with various issues such as applications, programs, server problems, login problems, etc.Installs, configures, maintains, and repair software/hardware in a Windows operating system environment; responsible for maintaining location microcomputers and peripherals.Provides system access support including account setup on applicable systems.Serves as location network administrator.Monitors location software license compliance.Serves as the IT control owner for various Sarbanes/Oxley key IT controls at the Indiana Glass (Bartlett-Collins) location in Sapulpa, OK.

This position reports directly to the Technical Support Manager in Blue Ash Office, reports indirectly through the Purchasing Manager in Sapulpa, OK and works closely with all end users in Sapulpa, OK as well as all IT staff in the Blue Ash Office
