We are currently searching for a Technology Director to lead our technology team to the next level.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business-to-IT alignment, IT strategic planning and execution, estimating and budgeting, and be a proven leader in their field.  In addition to those skills, candidate must be an expert in one or many technology focus areas such as development or networking. 

.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  

?  Oversees the working relationship between IT and other departments

?  Maintains awareness of developments in technology, hardware and software for the formulation of long- and short-range plans related to equipment and software purchases

?  Reports to management on information technology plans, projects, performance and other related matters

?  Determines and recommends department budgets and analyzes controllable expenditures

?  Responsible for providing on-site technical advice and support to maintain the integrity of the organization?s technology-related business (websites, infrastructure, etc.)

?  Offers input to team in determining proper technology directions

?  Manages and assigns activities of employees who support the organization?s technology needs

?  Manages the use of outside consultant groups to determine best direction for the corporate computer and network strategy

?  Manages the use of outside consultant groups to determine best direction for the growing database and software development needs

?  Supervises a team of technology professionals

?  Contributes to the overall strategic development of solutions

?  Provides a learning environment for team members and helps troubleshoot technical issues

?  Resolves mission-critical infrastructure issues that directly impact the company?s ability to function efficiently.

?  Stays abreast of any industry-wide changes in technology being used for the Internet and eCommerce.

?  Aligns the technical infrastructure with corporate strategic direction and manages implementation.

Collaborates with marketing strategists, creative designers and copywriters to develop high quality and impactful marketing solutions for clients

 

 

Must be able to support, understand, direct, and lead the following technology-based initiatives:

?  Advanced web development

?  Database design and maintenance

?  Network Infrastructure Design and Support

?  Level 1, 2, & 3 Tech Support

 

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 6-7 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
