Technology Specialist
TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST POSITION AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY
Multi-Link is seeking a Microsoft Certified technician to add to our team of technicians. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of MCP certification for consideration. Technicians will travel to client sites throughout the Denver/Boulder metro area to provide technical support. Candidates must posses the following technical and business skills:
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Excellent customer interaction and communication skills Ability to provide technology support to clients with various technical issues Schedule and track time appropriately Ability to manage client expectations Test solutions to ensure that customers are satisfied with work completed Ability to seek revenue opportunities with existing clients Desire to work independently and in a team environment Recommend new ideas and share best practices with team Update time/customer tracking systems on a daily basis Prepare and deliver customer quotes and proposals Outstanding organizational skills Reliable transportation
Technical skills:
Minimum of MCP certification is required Solid understanding of Microsoft desktop/laptop operating systems, up to and including XP Professional General understanding of Microsoft server operating systems, up to and including Windows 2003 and Active Directory In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office software Overall understanding of network topology: LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, Firewalls Exchange 2000, SQL 2000, and Access development is desired, but not essential Experience working with various hardware components Working knowledge of Linux and Unix is beneficial
