Direct hire, Expertise required with AWD Reporting Administration. 

 

Focus on the acquisition, maintenance and dissemination of operational and service data for use by other business unit?s. 

o  Respond to authorized requests for information that is not typically available in existing reports, or online systems.  This may require combining or cross-referencing existing data sources to develop the level of detail requested, or developing entirely new reporting methods to acquire the needed data.

o  Provide data analysis to management on an as-needed basis.

Seasonal / Scheduled Reporting Events

o  Manage a calendar of events which require infrequent yet regular manipulation, distribution, and/or storage of data which is currently unavailable through other more automated means.

Data Management, Normalization, and User Support

o  Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting tasks.  This may include the development of reports which would eliminate, or reduce the amount of work needed to respond to frequent requests.  Eliminate duplicate report requests, identifying common requests by multiple users.

o  Participate in the formulation of strategies to better manage access to data, analyze data, and distribute data.

o  Be a resource to users who are seeking data that may already be available to them, by developing a thorough understanding of existing reports, and online facilities.

o  Assist Business Unit?s in the development of reports regularly needed by the business community:

o  Maintain data within tracking tools which will be used to monitor support levels and the Team?s ability to successfully meet the business units? support requirements.

Manage Report Processing on BI

o  Manage the development and deployment of new Reports, by working with DST on the integration of Custom Crystal reports in BI.

o  Provide user support for BI related questions

Skill Sets:

Preferred:

?  Understanding of DST?s AWD system, particularly in regards to its Data layouts. Experience with DST?s BI data mining tools.

?  Experience developing/automating reports with MS Access, Crystal Reports, or Infomaker

Required:

?  Understanding of relational databases, and the ability to extract data from them.  Specifically, well versed in SQL as a querying language.

?  Proficient at typical reporting software such as MS Access, MS Excel.
