Business Analyst - Relationship Mgmt, Financial & Administration

The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The Business Analyst is considered the functional expert for specified applications, and may additionally play the role of Project Leader as assigned. The Business Analyst is also the primary contact between the business units and the I.T. department. This position will be concentrating on Financial applications.

Position Scope includes:

Project Management: working with various business groups to understand project concept and objectives, clearly defining the project scope and programming changes, project communications including status reports, timeline impacts and issue resolution.

Business Analysis: working closely with the business to identify and maximize opportunities to use IT for improvements in the business processes, coordinate and create all components of the business requirements and user requirements documentation, review programming changes for verification that the requirements have been met.

Operational Support: research and resolve various user issues, provide timely feedback to the users, prioritize projects with both business and IT communities, document system functionality, travel as needed.

Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in Financial applications or IT business analyst and project management in the Financial area.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Working knowledge of MS Office applications, Project and Visio.
Business Object knowledge a plus.
