CPU SW Engineer
Looking for technical lead/individual contributor for design, implementation and debug of CPU software for Consumer Mac products involving one or more of the following areas: embedded implementations, EFI boot firmware, OS drivers and user applications. Candidate must be motivated to work on fast paced programs in a matrixed environment, acting as a key player to design and implement new architectures in the software realm.
Position is flexible to suit candidate, but responsibilities may include:
- Software design, implementation and debugging at various levels in the OS and HW System.
- Support Hardware bring-up
- Manage system integration
Experience Required:
* BS CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
* 2-5+ years experience in OS development or embedded system development.
* Experience working on complex systems involving SW and HW
* Strong C/C++ and assembly language programming skills.
* Experience with board bring-up and digital hardware.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
- Must be self directed, analytical, and work well in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
* IOKit, EFI BootROM, BSD, Cocoa, Mac OS X experiences a strong plus.
