Cash Poster, Vernon Hills IL

Purpose of the Position: Posts and allocates incoming cash receipts for Net 30 accounts, releases credit card batches within A/R, posts and allocates for electronic bank transfers for Net 30 accounts, keeps a record of all cash and credit card reports, uploads images into the web extender program, releases deposits from our Vernon Hills and Downtown Showrooms, posts and allocates any COD payments that come through our Northern Trust Bank.

 

 

Essential Functions:

?  Receives incoming cash receipts and applies the funds per the customer?s request. 

?  Reconciles the exceptions of the allocations processed.

?  Records comments explaining why an allocation is not balancing.

?  Uploads images into the web extender on a daily basis.

?  Releases all credit card batches authorized by Treasury.

?  Keeps a daily record of cash and credit card reports.

?  Releases all deposits from the Vernon Hills and Downtown showrooms.

?  Receives electronic bank transfers and make any necessary applications.

 

 Qualifications: 

?  High School diploma or G.E.D.

?  Minimum 1-2 years entry-level business experience.

?  Detail-oriented

?  Proficient with a 10 key.

?  Written and oral communication through e-mail and phone.

?  Skilled use of Microsoft Excel 2000 or newer.
