Computer Hardware Sales - Columbia, MD

Solar Microsystems, LLC, a Subsidiary of LB&B Associates Inc., manufactures industrial rackmount computers, monitors and keyboards. Our primary business is building standard and custom industrial computer systems for commercial and government customers.

 

Solar Microsystems is currently seeking a self starter with Computer hardware sales experience in Columbia, Maryland to drive and generate new business.

 

This successful individual must be familiar with rackmount industrial computers and have a drive for expanding customer base and sales. Must also be familiar with multiple operating systems, networks, mechanical and electrical drawings, power supplies and data acquisition/ lab equipment. Familiarity with proper component selection for computers used in harsh environments a plus.  This is not an "executive" level position, but rather a great opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys spending 50% of the time outside of the office building business with customers aggressively and ethically.





Overall Job responsibilities include: Selling our existing computer product line and expand or modify product line to fit customer needs. Provide realistic sales forecasts and plan to produce those sales. Contacting customers, assist with maintaining the website, developing new promotional and marketing materials within budget.

 

Minimum qualifications include 2 or more years experience in Computer hardware sales.  A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer related field is desirable. 

 



All candidates must be able to pass drug/alcohol test & criminal background check.
