OUR POSITION:



We are currently searching for a Computer Hardware Technician to work on-site at a client location in McLean, Virginia.Primary responsibilities include maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of computer-related equipment, including printers and PCs.  Work primarily involves HP, Compaq, and Intel-based computers and laptops.

 

You must be able to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively (in written and verbal form) with customers, coworkers, and managers. You must be available to interview in the DC area (no travel/relocation expenses covered).

 

Only individuals with these qualifications will be considered:

Current HP/Compaq APS for Desktopss/Workstations certifications

HP printer certification (Warranty Basics)

Two years experience in maintenance and repairs of HP printers.

At least one year experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP and Microsoft Office products.

At least one year experience in maintenance of all major components for Intel-based computers.

At least one year experience with troubleshooting and replacing PC hardware and support software (MS OS).

At least one year customer service experience. 

 

Associates degree in electronics or equivalent a plus.

Salary range: $35,000.00 to $40,000.00
