Computer Service/Repair Technician

Part-time and full-time opportunities available for experienced computer service/repair technicians on 1st and 2nd shift in Lavergne.  Great opportunity for students.

 

Quanta Manufacturing has partnered with Remedy Staffing to fill multiple positions for service and repair technicians.  Primary job duty will be performing diagnostics in order to repair, rework, replace or upgrade returned products.  These products will include but are not limited to laptop/notebooks and servers. Resumes should highlight experience in hands-on, component level hardware repair. 

 

Candidates need to have at least one year prior work experience in computer/service/repair at the component level or an associates level degree in computer repair/engineering.  Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and have working knowledge of software troubleshooting as well as individual component troubleshooting skills.  A+ certification is preferred, but not required.

 

The ideal candidate will have good analytical abilities, good organizational skills and good visual color perception.  All candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, be available to work frequent overtime as needed (including Saturdays) and be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.

 

These positions have the potential of temp-to-hire after 90 days.  All candidates will start as entry-level technicians with opportunities to advance based on performance.  Starting wage is $10.90 per hour.
