Computer Support Specialist

 

Maintain network computer systems, support on-site and multiple remote users efficiently and effectively. Responsible for solving technical computer problems relating to operations and network systems.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Maintain and support computer systems including network server and remote usersConfigure desktop PCs and laptopsTrouble shoot software issues, install and upgrade softwareInstall, configure, repair, and upgrade hardware and MS OfficeMaintain telephones, printer, fax machines and copiers.

 

Skills and Abilities:

 Excellent ability to analyze computer issues expeditiously and provide timely solutions First rate technical troubleshooting skillsExceptional follow up skills to resolve systems and user issuesAbility to work independently with efficiency, effectiveness and composureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task with a capacity to prioritize work assignments

 

Education and Experience Required:

 Associate DegreeA+ and MCSE certifications requiredThorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, NT, 95/98 desktop, server and network3+ years experience with operations, systems, network, and Internet3+ years experience with hardware installations and troubleshooting
