EMC Engineer
The candidate will work as a member of a cross-functional team and will be responsible for the design and implementation of EMC solutions on Apple products. The candidate must be highly skilled in PCB level EMC design as well as EMC enclosure design. The candidate must be skilled in EMC debug techniques and must be able to accurately perform emissions and immunity testing on IT products. It is highly desired to have previous EMC experience with desktop and laptop personal computers. The candidate must have knowledge of international EMC regulations, standards and test methods. Knowledge of ISO guide 17025 is desired as well. The candidate must be able to travel internationally and must be free of any country related travel restrictions. Flexible working hours is a must due to test facility limitations. Good verbal and written communication skills are needed for this position.
Additional consideration will be given to experience with standards writing and knowledge of world wide wireless regulations. Other duties include, but are not limited to, test report writing, test plan and test procedure writing, cost reduction EMC evaluations, second source component evaluation.
