Field Service Technician

Rapidly growing industry leader in the parking revenue control industry is looking for a SERVICE TECHCNICIAN in the BALTIMORE, MARYLAND area.



Responsibilities:

We are looking for a professional person with good troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, able to positively represent the Company to our customer base and adept at handling customer issues. Able to achieve customer satisfaction by prompt on-site repair, as well as timely delivery and installation of new products. He/She will be required to maintain a high level of technical proficiency, administer his/her assigned service area in a timely and accurate manner and to reconcile spare parts inventories usage to zero shrinkage levels in order to meet our high product standards and demanding customer requirements.



Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent with Military or Electronic Technical School Certificate. Three years of bench or on-site technical service experience and one year of field service experience required. High level of technical proficiency in microcomputer product area OR electronics, with extensive experience in LANS and microcomputer technical training. Familiarity with major operating systems (MS-DOS, OS/2, Windows NT); satisfactory verbal and written skills. ORACLE preferred.  Third party certifications in primary vendor product lines are desirable but not required. Experience in electromechanical devices and relay interfaces is also desirable.

Skill Training: Specific Equipment Training to be Provided by Employer

Traveling: During training and from time to time as required to support other sites.
