Field Service Technician, Printer Technician
Service technician to repair and maintain large production laser based printing systems.
Additional responsibilities may include servicing of mainframes, servers, personal computers, and disc drives. This work is primarily hands-on repair, maintenance, and installation of printers, computers, and related equipment. The job requires the use of an automobile as all of our service is provided at our customers locations. The position will require off shift work, weekend and holiday standby periods.
An Associates Degree in Computer Hardware Engineering Technology or equivalent is required. This job will require a complete U.S. Government security background investigation.
MiComp Technology Services, Inc. is a small independent service organization, located in Livonia, MI. MiComp services its customer base in the greater Detroit area. MiComp specialize in the maintenance of high volume, high speed laser printing systems. Including the complete line of Xerox, Docutech products, and IBM InfoPrint 4000 printers. MiComp is a Department of Defense registered contractor.
