Pre-Sales and Post-Sales support for the Eternus Storage Product Family.  Duties to include:

 24X7 Problem Escalation as Engineering Duty Manager (Carry pager on rotating basis). New Product Introduction (Product Test, Publication Review, Development of Procedures, Etc.) ISV/IHV Interoperability Testing (Software and Hardware) Storage Benchmarking Activities (Industry Standard or Customer Supplied Benchmarks) Education and Training of Other Technical Personnel.



BSEE or BSCS preferred. 


 


Proficiency in the Mid-Range and Enterprise Class San Environment.  Storage-based hardware and software test and hardware/software product qualification, storage software and storage solutions a plus.


 


1-3 years experience in Mid-Range and enterprise class open storage systems.  Independent software (ISV) or independent hardware (IHV) interoperability test and qualification activities, engineering support of customer services.


 


Familiarity with the following equipment: UNIX, IA-based and Itanium-based servers.  Fiber Channel Switches and Host Bus Adaptors.
