IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

Sol Melia Vacation Club Services is becoming the fastest growing vacation ownership company in the world and we are searching for an IT Help Desk Tech with prior experience to join us.

 

 

DESCRIPTION :

 

Responsible for providing support to end users on a variety of issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems that may include but are not limited to software, hardware, and platforms.  Responds to telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support.  Responsible for maintaining proper and accurate documentation, tracking and monitoring of all problems to ensure a timely resolution. 

 



?  Monitors compliance with service agreements.

?  Responsible for researching questions by using a variety of manuals and resources, and work in conjunction with company?s affiliates. 

?  Serve as a liaison between Executive Committee and vendors. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS :

 

Bilingual- Fluent in Spanish and English languages required.





High level of interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of the MS Windows networking environment

Knowledge of MS Office Application

Working knowledge of PC Desktop and Laptop hardware

General knowledge of mail server applications

General knowledge of Active Director of or other LAN Account Management Services

Strong desire and ability to learn and support new applications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

?  Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred.

?  At least 2 year Help Desk experience.

?  Strong ability to make decisions and advise on reasonable timeframes.  

?  Firm believer in a team approach to operate.

?  Demonstrates solid communication skills.
