Vaco Technology in Nashville, TN has 3 (THREE) immediate openings for a JAVA DEVELOPER. Ideal candidates must match the description below. Full benefit package offered.

This exciting, multi-year PERMANENT opening offers challenges in all phases of the development lifecycle and will provide an opportunity to design, build and deploy the system that will be used to satisfy all of the needs of this client.

Responsibilities:
* STRONG EMPHASIS on design software across all layers
* Client/Presentation, Server/Domain, and Data Source/Mapping
* using formal methodologies, languages (UML) and design tools (Rose).
*JMS- Java Messaging Service
* Implement robust and maintainable code using Java / J2EE, JSPs, Struts, XML, and SQL.
* Perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing.
* Deploy, maintain and support applications in a mission-critical production environment for internal and external users.
* Create, populate, maintain and interface with relational databases using Oracle.
* Work with development team to identify, analyze and resolve all technical issues related to the project.
* Assess and suggest improvements for architecture, tools, methodology, and development and lab systems and processes.

Requirements / Education / Experience:
Must have (in order of importance):
* 4-5 years of hands-on experience developing end-to-end software in a mid- to large-scale or multi-tiered or client-server enterprise/production environment, using Object Oriented Analysis and Design and formal development methodologies
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Minimum of 3 years of development in a J2EE application server environment
* Bachelor*s in Computer Science

* Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and work ethic
* Strong attention-to-detail and ability to follow a problem through to completion
*Desire to work hard towards project objectives
