LAN ADMINISTRATOR/DC
ELK GROVE, CA

Responsibilities: Responsible for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment; PCs; local area network hardware and software; troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals; installing new users; data security for local network; trouble shooting warehouse management system issues and recommend appropriate action; performing system backups and data recovery; resolving LAN communication problems; evaluating and recommend vendor products in both hardware and software; perform routine server maintenance; perform calibration verification.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience; C.N.A. and M.C.S.E. certification recommended but not necessary. Minimum 2-4 years experience in a LAN environment; Knowledge of Windows 2000/03 client/servicer & desktop environment., Compaq/HP server hardware and general PC hardware. Skill in Microsoft Windows Server; Microsoft Windows workstation; Microsoft Office Professional; Harware and software. Ability to Troubleshoot and correct LAN connection and server connection problems; Manage and create a mid-size user group; Effectively communicate technical problems and issues in a logical and simple to understand format. Infrequent travel required.
